A large contract has been secured by Stryde and this contract states that the company will supply 42,000 autonomous nodes to Smart Seismic Solutions (S³). Once this has been completed, they will be used within the Danish onshore CO2 storage project.

From this point, the nodes will be deployed on a £D high-density seismic survey for the CarbonCuts CO2 Storage Project. This particular project is a high-profile initiative which is specifically aimed at identifying optimal onshore subsurface storage solutions for CO2 sequestration.

Completing this seismic survey will be crucial when it comes to advancing Denmark’s ambitious goal around achieving net-zero emissions by 2045. To make this goal possible, the parties involved will be focused on using advanced seismic technology to map geological formations with a brand-new amount of accuracy. Doing this means it will make it much easier to help ensure safe and effective onshore CO2 storage.
