In the presentation, the best commercial ammonia and hydrogen production set-ups at mega scale will be discussed. Further, a holistic approach of defining the carbon intensity of the low carbon product and its impact on the economics in the light of the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) will be addressed which is extremely relevant for the ongoing and upcoming projects in the USA. Based on the best syngas generation technology coupled with best CO2 capture technologies, Air Liquide is in a position to address the true upscaling of production of low carbon molecules and support even further the transition to a low carbon economy.
