CCUS is expected to contribute materially to decarbonization. In order to deploy the CCUS infrastructure, a number of value chain elements must unite, though the complexity of this new exercise when paired with evolving policies and regulatory frameworks poses key challenges. Continuous investment in technology development, digital solutions and integration across the value chain can unlock opportunities and create value for all stakeholders in CCUS projects. The integrated approach can de-risk and enable efficient and effective CCUS infrastructure deployment.
